When to sail
The Andaman season runs November to April: north-east monsoon, dry air, light seas and reliable 10–20 knot breezes. May to October brings the south-west monsoon — sailing continues in sheltered waters, with lower rates and afternoon squalls to plan around. Peak weeks (Christmas to mid-January) book out months ahead.

Classic seven-day loops run north into Phang Nga Bay for the hongs and a night at anchor under the karsts, then south through Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh to Koh Lanta, returning along the Krabi coast.
